Although Bamboo lost its first singles match when Harold accidentally sank the 8 ball in the third and deciding game of the best of three singles match against Tschuffi, the next three singles were all won by the defending champions.

Yak led the assault winning over Peter, Nick downed Alec and Richard beat Rik , all by a 2-1 score and Bamboo closed out the match by taking the next two doubles, both 3-0, for a 5-1 score and a 13-5 frame difference.
