Yak led the assault winning over Peter, Nick downed Alec and Richard beat Rik , all by a 2-1 score and Bamboo closed out the match by taking the next two doubles, both 3-0, for a 5-1 score and a 13-5 frame difference. Lord’s Bar, Premier Bar and Cork and Cask, blanked their respective opponents, 6-0, to join Bamboo in the lead after the first week of competitions. Premier, playing home, prevailed over Bungy Jump, Lord’s Bar was victorious over Arada Bar while Cork N Cask stopped Elephant Castle to notch opening week victories.
